I'm slightly drunk and I haven't posted here in AGES but hooray! It's Norway's national celebration day, we're crazy about that stuff up here, I've worn and am gonna wear my NATIONAL COSTUME later and I thought this called for some sort of celebration. Hooray!

I miss the flist and I miss LJ. Maybe I'll try and get this thing started again! Love to all!

OMG yes

Hannemaren and me have started a band! And it's just the two of us with the Hot Keyz(!) keyboard and drums and it's so good. My foot and arms are ACHING from playing the drums all night but we made a song, and we sang and we drank and OMG this is the most fun I've had at a practice ever before :DDD

What is so great is we have absolutely nothing to be afraid of so we both just laugh and play

ALSO we beat ARGENTINA! Okay, so it was at home and Argentina wasn't playing their top team but they still had Messi and Masche and others which I don't really know much about since I'm not too interested in their national team (booo for me) but still it's ARGENTINA.

Owww my foot and arm really hurt... but it's all good. It was massive fun playing drums for once. And singing. Haha!

seriously. I went to Total Chaos(!) in high heels thinking I'm too old for this pogoing shit, and ended up bloodied and beaten but happy as fuck. My arms are full of scratches and I had my bum pinched too much to be funny and sleazy people putting moves on me but seriously, I've missed this. I think that no matter how much of a fashionista I may look like I'm still the bellowing beerdrinking pogoing urchin deep down.

GOD this was fun.

I got the mic for most of the Complete Control as well. Fantastic.

TOTAL CHAOS. At the most...insignificant, tiny little venue.

I'm still in shock.

I should of taken pictures.

But I have the bluemarks and scratches to show. (hooray?)

WE DID IT WE DID IT!

I cannot BELIEVE we didn't score this game. Even though they won, it was the best team over the course of two games that went through.

The stadium was utter beauty. I was almost in tears.

I was also almost in tears when Barca scored.

Still it is a mystery to me why Rafa brought Pennant in for Bellers. I don't care what anyone says anymore, I LOVE Bellamy and he played really well, and he is constantly a threat up front with his pace and work rate. From the moment Pennant came in we started to look shady, and seven minutes later they score. I cannot understand what he was supposed to bring into the game.

But nevermind, we're THROUGH! And we've faced Barcelona and we won!

I love love love my team. So much love. You'll never walk alone.

even with the somehow unconvincing display, if you look at anything but the scoreline, that is. But I suppose it's nothing to be dissatisfied over, considering we've put in good performances without getting away with any points before (re. Newcastle).

So I'm happy. And I was loved how Robbie's goal was pratically his first touch on the ball.

MoM? Er.. probably Gerrard, even with his SulkyMcSulk tendencies in the first half. But it was a beautiful goal, and he was good overall.

I never cease to be amazed by the effort Kuyt puts in, though. In the second half there were times when the entire team looked like they didn't really bother with trying to get the ball properly, but he ran like his life depended on it the whole time. You've gotta respect that kind of work ethic.

Mascherano was okay, he seemed to be a bit nervous at first, doing some mistakes that could've been avoided, but all in all I think he had a decent game and that he can be very valueable for us. He's cut from the same fold as Xabi, playerwise, I think - good passer of the ball, good defensive play, good technique, level-headed when he calms his nerves.

Poor Crouchy though. He's appearently broken his nose. :( Poor lad.

Looked like it hurt quite badly.

In non-football news I was at ASTA KASK last night! It was absolutely brilliant, tight, fun, happy, good times, even though I spent the whole time pressed up against a steel barrier so now my stomach's got a bruise that's shaped like a log across it and my neck hurts like hell. But that's the way it's supposed to with old-school punk music, isn't it?

Micke was quite yummy back in 84, he's not really that anymore but they all had bowling shirts with their names on them which I found ridiculusly adorable. And you cannot help loving 40 year old men entering the stage in denim cut-offs and high tops and somehow pulling it off. Long live the 80's!

I was so ecstatic. The sad thing is, when amazing things like that happen I find it hard to actually register the moment as it passes, and I don't really feel it until long after it has passed. I've been looking forward to this gig for so long and now it's suddenly OVER, and I don't really feel as if I took it all in the way I should have.

I love you boys, I love you so much. I love how you kept on fighting, I loved how you showed team spirit, I loved how you made the brilliant Barca boys sulk and do mistakes in irritation. Yes, they had some pretty big chances but we were the ones who came out on top.

Brilliant, brilliant stuff.

Brave, brilliant Momo. He was class today, I'll be devastated if he's out for long again.

Bellers - he was easily one of our best players, if not the best.

honestly, I hope this is as exaggerated as it sounds. I mean, Bellamy, come on, I'd started to LIKE you!

It is News of the World, so I don't really know what to believe. The Norwegian papers are all over themselves because of this, but Riise's rep claims he went to bed at 11.30 pm and that he hadn't had any alcohol. There's always so much speculation about things like this.

Rafa is probably FURIOUS.

Meh. I just hope this doesn't affect the game too much, but I suppose it's ridiculus to think it wont..

Things are looking good, with the exception of a gazillion of books to read for my history classes. But they sound pretty cool, most of them.

That's what I'm saying now, of course. Guess I'll be singing a different song when I'm midway into the semester.

Barca eh? Jebus. I thought half the point of winning the group was avoiding things like this.

We'll have the last game at home, though. Perhaps this will make a difference, although at the moment I want to grip something really really hard and moan with self-pity.

Then again, if we lose, we can still go out with our heads held high - it's not like losing to Barcelona means you're a bad team. And if we win? Victory will be even sweeter.

My feet hurt so bad. I should take it to heart that heels and 7 and a half hours on flagstones does not add up.

Also, we're appearently booked to Stavanger Punk Rock Festival 2007. Which have had the Misfits, the Exploited, Condemned 84, Peter and the TestTubeBabies and Vice Squad as headliners, amongst others. So that's a bit cool. Hooray for us.

In other news, my exam went LUKT AD HELVETE as we say in Norwegian, which means it sucked and there was no questions on rhetoric. WHY? What's the bloody point of knowing the five phases of rhetoric speech (inventio, dispostio, elocutio, memoria, actio - sounds like Harry Potter spells doesn't it? that's latin for you) or the three different speech categories (forensic - institutional, epidectic - not institutional, deliberative - institutional) if no one's gonna ask me about them?

Mergh. I wrote five pages on the different meanings of culture in society and left.

But at least I'm done now. Hooray!

..25 football fans were arrested in Somalia on account on them seeing the Man U - Chelsea game on television.

Some of the fans are less than 10 years old, but still they are not released.

Makes me really think how god damn lucky I am, and how unlucky others are. And how different and yet how similar things are. You have to be a pretty dedicated fan to risk enprisonment only to see a game on television. Or the girls of countries who ban woman on football stadiums, but still try to get in.

They have all my support and respect. If I was put in their position, I don't know if I'd be as brave.

It shows the beauty of football - the beauty that goes beyond borders and cultural differences. Regardless of age, religion, sex, language, education, you can love football all the same. You have that arena that you can meet and that you can understand each other upon.. integration at it's finest.

And still you're brought down because of it.

School today was pretty uncool.. I felt lonely in class and to be honest, the whole subject didn't interest me much. -sigh- Can't have everything, I guess. Meh. I just want to be done with this semester so I can start proper education.

I am currently having a sandwich and drinking tea to keep awake. Will go to the gym in half an hour, even though I don't really want to. But I always feel so much better about myself when I'm done.

I cannot WAIT for the new Spideman movie. If you haven't already seen the trailer you really should. Topher Grace is gonna be in it. I cannot express how much I love Topher Grace. And he's a villain!! OMG I love villains. I already love James Franco as Harry Osborn so I will probably love Venom just as much. I always sympathize with the bad guys. A major character flaw, I suppose.. But I have to say, if Spiderman kills off James Franco in this one I will NOT be a happy gal. At all. If I was to decide, Peter would realise that Harry is just a forlorn, lost soul who want some luvin', particulary from him, then dump MJ and go have hot boyseks and be happy.

Then again, if I was to decide, there would be a lot more movies involving hot boyseks overall. Sigrid and me have plans to get rich and make a lot of movies featuring boys only boarding schools with Gael Garcia Bernal in a lead role and mainly focusing on hot boyseks.

Another thing I CANNOT wait for, almost, is the new James Bond movie. I don't care what anyone says, I love Daniel Craig and I think he'll be amazing as Bond. And Mads Mikkelsen is the bad guy. I've seen a few movies with him in it, but the one that stands out in my mind was the one where he played a really really disturbed slaughter who used people's flesh in his products because he believed it would do good for business. The man's insane. Just like Peter Stormare. Peter Stomare is not balanced. But I love him for it. I love unbalanced Scandinavian actors making it in the US.

GAAAHH don't wanna go to the gym. Hopefully we'll get tv's with something good on them.. Last time there was Beverly Hills 90210, which is very good for nostagic value only I had to run practically sideways to see anything. Heh.

you know, the worst part is WE DIDN'T DESERVE ANYTHING ELSE. Arsenal played good football and they played better than us. It's just so sad we cannot seem to get over whatever demon that seems to hit us every time we're playing away.

I felt bad for Zenden. He tried really hard, and worked all he could, but he's just no Momo. God did we miss him today. And Gonzales, I mean, lad, I see you're running and trying but he was just too...lightweight today.

Positives:

Xabi was brilliant in the second half. He finally looked like himself again. MoM of the Liverpool players IMO.

Pepe was good today. Looking more like himself again as well.

The play that created Crouchy's disallowed goal was brilliant. Shame he didn't jump over the ball or somewhat because Speedy was behind him and onside.

That'd be it, I think..

Oh woe. Woe is reaaaaal. Shame and scandal.

Appearently Søten played all of the second half with a broken rib last night against United. Never imagined him as a hard man to be honest. Now he's out of international duty and that's not good.

He said to the Norwegian 442 that Bentley was one of the Blackburn players he'd the best contact with. I see an OTP forming rapidly. Had they played for a bigger club they'd probably have a community of their own already, heh.

Woe woe woe.

I will go and see The Departed now, to take my mind of woeness. Booo hooo.

Oh I CANNOT say how good that was. Even though it was a, you know, heavily edited version of the game and all.

PEPE IS BACK. In full mode. I love him. When they got that freekick right outside our box in the first half (that they shouldn't have had because that was a Hollywood job application if I ever saw one) you could hear him shouting to the others which got me very much exited.

Erm.

Luis, you're one of the best finishers in this club at the moment. So much love.

You big doofus. But I love you for it.

And Stevie! Finally he got his goal! He's been moping about that since forever. I hope he'll get into a scoring-streak now. Oh Stevie, you have no idea how happy it made me to see you smile like that again.

Blackburn won at home against Wigan, and Bentley scored. I hope you all know who Bentley is, because he's fucking beautiful to the point where Maria and me judge people's hotness after how much they look like him.

I am absolutely and utterly bored senseless. The shop is empty and quiet like a big glittering goldfish bowl. Outside it's grey and cold but at least it's real and somewhat moving. This is like being on display in a world that's stopped breathing.

I am singing "We won it five times" over and over to myself just to keep some sense of audible sanity. Or perhaps it's the entirely opposite effect, but it's stuck in my head.

I keep having dreams about Daniel Agger. You know, those kind of dreams. Except he's always unattainable, even if he's somewhat... reachable. This doesn't really make any sense, does it?

It's somewhat sad though, that I am so emotionally detatched that I'd rather be romancing someone I haven't even met than actually try to fall in love with someone who's real and available.

Game last night was really good until the defence shattered. Carra still doesn't look all sure of what he's doing, although he makes up for a lot with his sacrifices. Finns was the best of the back five imo. But they're all extremly good-looking, or what? Our team has reached a stage of pretty that makes it hard to concentrate.

I miss Maria to a point that's quite pathetic, really. At least she's sending emails at a somewhat regular interval now, so I haven't been angsting and considering to contact interpol and in all starting a search for her all over Europe because I'm afraid she might be dead or something.

University is overrated at this point.
